Cariacatures
Caricature carvings are my first love, carving love that is. They are fun to do and they don’t have to be properly proportuned. At work, things must be exact, and they must function perfectly. With caricatures, I can make a head larger than life to enable me to bring out detail. They are easier to paint than birds, because I can use paint directly out of the paint bottle without having to mix it to obtain the proper color.
